Just 10 minutes from Gatineau, a campsite where life is good. At the bottom of the fanatical country out loud…

My husband and I stayed at Camping Cantley for nine days in the middle of May, 2016. This campground is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at and we have been camping for years. The owners take great pride in their facilities and it is well kept. Our campsite was a large pull-through, facing the lake. Admittedly, there are some campsites on the other side of the park which were smaller and back-ins. The park has two swimming pools which were not open of course in the middle of May but what other park has two swimming pools! There are also tennis courts, a lovely large mini golf course and bocce ball courts. Tennis raquets, golf clubs and balls and bocce balls are available for rental for $1.00 each with a returnable security deposit. The road running along the outside of the large lake is ideal for walking, jogging or biking. The staff and owners of the park are bilingual and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to navigate Ottawa by car and anything else you need to know about the area. The park is close to Ottawa, Gatineau Park and the beautiful Quebec countryside. We had a wonderful stay there and would recommend this park to anyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation and is respectful of other people and the quiet hours.
