From June 1 to September 15, 2022. However, training can take place before the start date.

Receptionist Positions to fill:
-1 full-time position (32 hours and more…) during the week and weekend
-2 part-time positions (10 hours and more…) during the week and weekend

Tasks: At your service! 

– Inform customers of reservation terms: locations, fees, modifications and cancellations Make reservations for locations
– Prepare customer registration sheets
– Greet customers upon their arrival
– Register customers
– Inform customers about certain practical aspects – services, security, regulations
– Submit the relevant documentation
– Compile daily statistics
– Respond to customer requests, sell products available in the field, deal with found items, handle reported complaints
– Provide information on the services and activities offered by Camping Cantley as well as on the tourist attractions of the region
– Make various types of reservations on behalf of customers such as reservations for show tickets, restaurants, etc.
– Advise the customer that at the end of their stay, they must leave the exit access card in the boxes provided for this purpose

Hourly rate:
Between 15.25 $ and 18.00 $ per hour – depending on experience and qualifications

1 part-time position (16 hours):

Saturday between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. plus the 2 weeks of construction.

Role : The facilitator is a service employee whose function is to prepare and lead recreational activities with the aim of making guests' stay pleasant and satisfying.

Planning : Must plan in detail recreational activity programs in various areas such as sports, fine arts, crafts, music and drama. Must supervise the organization of material resources necessary for recreational activities. Must collaborate with other stakeholders to implement new activities.

Animation : Encourage clients to participate in activities. Select the equipment necessary for the activity before use and store it, in good condition, after use. Coordinate and lead activities. Teach the technical, theoretical or practical elements related to recreational activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety rules in the places where activities take place.

Activity monitoring: Maintain and keep in order the premises, equipment and tools assigned to the activity. Report incidents that occur during activities. Complete reports on the progress of activities and the interest of participants. Make a record of equipment breakdowns, and the condition of the land and premises.

Customer service : Provide, if necessary, specific services such as responding to customer requests, informing customers about the company's services and tourist attractions in the region, taking care of found objects, handling complaints or directing them to the right people competent to do this. See to the observation and application of company regulations.

Abilities: Leadership, interpersonal skills, team spirit, creativity, dynamism, good physical health, bilingualism is an asset and having CPR certification is an asset.

Hourly rate: 15,25 $

Period: From May 15 to September 15

– 1 full time:     noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. (hours could be revised as needed as well as divided into 2 part-time periods).

– 1 part-time:  2 days weeks depending on availability.

Role: The maintenance worker is an employee whose function is to maintain the sites, equipment and installations of a campsite using the appropriate equipment and materials in order to ensure the cleanliness of the premises and make the customer's stay pleasant.

Tasks 

MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT

  • Maintain and keep in order the premises, equipment and tools assigned to maintenance;
  • Select the equipment and tools necessary for maintenance before use and store them in good condition after use;

PREMISES MAINTENANCE

  • Clean and disinfect sanitary facilities (showers, toilets, sinks), and fill paper and soap dispensers;
  • Tour the grounds, collect garbage and papers and place them in the container;
  • Ensure that trash cans cannot be overturned by wild animals;
  • Maintain outdoor play areas and sports facilities;
  • Check and clean the fire location areas;
  • Rake and collect dead leaves and branches;
  • Wash and replace picnic tables;
  • Maintain landscaping by cutting the grass, doing edge trimming, and maintaining flower beds;
  • Carry out minor repairs, as needed (replacing bulbs and fuses, repairing leaks, etc.);
  • Carry out maintenance and minor repair work on buildings and equipment.

Requirement :  Must have a driver's license.

Hourly rate: $16.00 and $22.00, depending on previous experience. (training is paid at minimum wage)

4 positions of 32 hours (2 lifeguard positions only and 2 other lifeguard positions affiliated with other tasks such as entertainment, troubleshooting or reception).

Role : The lifeguard is a service employee assigned to prevention and protection in public baths whose job is to monitor people around the swimming pools, in order to prevent accidents and help people in need, using water rescue and first aid techniques.

Equipment and facilities : Must ensure the proper functioning of installations and equipment. Must maintain rescue equipment. Must perform water tests and add the correct amount of chemicals to protect the health of swimmers. Must clean the pool.

Surveillance-rescue: Prevent the risks and dangers that may arise around and on the body of water. Monitor bathers in swimming pools to ensure compliance with the regulations in force and to help them in the event of difficulties. Resuscitate victims and give first aid to injured people. Write reports regarding your shift. Complete the incident form, including witnesses.

Customer service : Inform people of the need for water safety measures. If necessary, provide specific services such as responding to customer requests, informing customers about the company's services and tourist attractions in the region, taking care of lost objects, handling complaints or directing them to the competent people to to do. See to the observation and application of company regulations.

Abilities: Maturity, sense of responsibility, sense of observation, autonomy, diplomacy, critical thinking, leadership, resistance to stress

Requirements: The employee must absolutely have a certificate of national lifeguard valid and over 16 years old. Having a driving license is a great asset.

Hourly rate: Between 16.00$ and 20.00$ depending on experience.

Hours : Swimming pool # 1 10 – noon, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (8.5 hours)

Swimming pool # 2 11 – 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (8 hours)

In the event of rain, lifeguards who have their hours guaranteed will be reassigned to related tasks. Rescuers will also be able to take the option of leaving the scene without compensation.
