Regulations - Seasonal
ESSENTIALS
- There is a curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and music must be turned off by 10:30 p.m. Calm and whispers are there.
- Groups will have to disperse during the curfew to ensure respect for other campers wanting to enjoy their rest. Tolerance of 6 silent people remaining at the fire.
- On the campsite speed is limited to10 km/h and the provisions of the Traffic Laws apply at all times. That is to say, what is not permitted on public roads is not permitted on the campsite.
- A camper group can include 2 adults and 3 children under 18 years old. Any additional people incur costs of $12.18 plus tax ($14.00) by night.
- It is possible to add 1 other tent on your site for the amount of $45,00 plus taxes ($51,75) per night (limit 1 additional family). Arrangements must be made in advance directly with the office.
- Your visitors are welcome but must present themselves at the Arrival Post upon arrival, to register and pay the entrance fees. $6.96 plus tax ($8.00) per day and if subsequently decide to spend the night there on the ground must pay before 9:00 p.m. an additional amount of $5.22 plus tax ($6.00). The maximum arrival time for a visitor is 8:50 p.m. and their departure time from the campsite is 10:30 p.m. Since there are constraints regarding their animals and vehicles, we suggest you consult our visitor policy.
ANIMALS
We are pleased to receive campers' pets, as long as we are notified of their presence; our regulations here below are respected and that the costs of $3.00 plus taxes ($3.45) per night are acquitted. Visitors coming for the day must leave their pet at home. unless they sleep at the campsite. At that point, they need to register it and pay the fees.
- MONITORING :
Animals must be supervised by an adult at all times. They can only be alone inside your equipment. Excreta should be picked up immediately. Do not deposit excrement in homes, in trash cans in sanitary facilities and in can and recycling deposit containers. - BEHAVIOURS :
Pitbulls and aggressive animals are not accepted. Animals must not disturb the neighborhood or cause trouble. - LEASH AND PERMITTED PLACES:
Pets must be on a leash at all times (max. 8'). No unrestrained dogs on the campsite will be tolerated. - It is forbidden to leave the animal attached to the infrastructure or to bring them into the swimming pool enclosure, the community room, the sanitary facilities or the laundry room. Please do not let your animals encroach on other campers' sites.
Failure to comply with a regulation could result in immediate expulsion, without refund.
TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES
To ensure everyone's safety and calm, the following regulations are very important to us.
- Speed is limited to10 km/h and the provisions of the Highway Code Apply that is to say, what is not permitted on public roads is not permitted on the campsite. We will have zero tolerance for drunk driving on the campsite. The presence of a child behind the wheel is prohibited, as well as walking around the campsite with people in a truck box.
- All camper or visitor vehicles must be registered at the arrival station (plate number).
PARKING:
- The camper's vehicle must be parked on the rented site. It is not permitted in the visitor parking lot located near the arrival post or on a free site. In the case of a 2nd vehicle needed by the camper group, you must notify the office. Parking spaces inside the campsite are available to them.
UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT:
- Mountain bikes (3 or 4 wheels), golf carts, scooters, electric cars or bicycles, segways, and motorcycles are prohibited from circulating on the campsite's private sites and paths. (see tolerance below)
TOLERANCES:
- The camper who has a driving license and respects the 10km speed will be allowed to go to his site with his motorbike or scooter but not to take walks on the site. Wearing a helmet is mandatory at all times. The adult can also ride an electric bicycle while wearing a helmet and respecting the 10km limit.
- We will tolerate the child's cart if accompanied by an adult who can control it.
MODIFIED OR NOISY VEHICLES:
- Out of respect for others, they cannot travel before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. Plan to leave these vehicles in the visitor parking lot during these hours.
BICYCLES:
- Must ride a maximum of 10 km and in clear conditions only.
ENVIRONMENT
Let's protect nature by taking simple and intelligent actions against garbage, recycling, water and wood. The water comes from wells and its consumption is an issue.
RECYCLING :
- Our containers are located at the exit and opposite the laundry room.
- Filed on resalable items such as cans, bottles of liquors or beers in the recycling bin identified cans.
- THE plastic, papers, small boxes cardboard (broken) and the window in containers identified for recycling.
- THE wood, large cardboard box and metal and must be placed next to the containers and not in container.
- The little propane tanks are recovered on one Tablet near the containers to the output camping.
WASTE:
- Our containers are located at the exit and opposite the laundry room.
- Only place household waste in containers that do not display not the recycling logo.
- ** forbidden to burn your household waste, pine needles, treated wood, stained or painted, and other materials containing glue or Styrofoam.
WATER :
- Wells do not allow water to be wasted.
- Water is reserved for personal consumption. It is therefore prohibited to wash your equipment or car or use it for games requiring high consumption.
ELECTRICITY :
- THE Electric heating is permitted in small equipment who has no other source of heating (tent or tent trailer). However, it is very important to manage the use of this, which itself can draw the total amperage supplied to the site.
- None light is not permitted in or around trees and must be extinguished at curfew. Out of respect for other campers (tent, trailer tent, hybrid) we ask you to please turn off your lights (LEDS) at curfew if they have a street lamp effect (spotlight).
- Electrical devices used to kill insects must stop operating at bedtime or in the absence of the camper.
DRINK :
- It is prohibited by the Ministry of the Environment to move firewood from one region to another and some types of wood moved could cost you. We are adding the link informing you of the risk of fines associated with the transport of wood.

SAFETY BEHAVIOR
Respect and good manners are essential. Our position towards sobriety, drugs and respect.
ALCOHOL :
- Sobriety is essential everywhere on the field and behind the wheel. Moderate consumption is permitted on your site only. You must be of legal age to consume (18 years and over). It is also prohibited to circulate on the campsite with a glass container.
DRUG:
- Being a family oriented business, we will position our campground as a public place wanting to ensure a drug free environment for children. So on Camping Cantley the use or sale of drugs is prohibited and could result in immediate expulsion without reimbursement.
- Please note : Unless we can completely prevent consumption, we will enforce the smoking bans established by the province of Quebec. That is to say, a radius of 9m (30′) from buildings, terraces, playgrounds and sports areas,
limiting your consumption option inside your equipment since the campground as a whole is considered a large playground/sports area. (See section 3.15-5, Law 157, chapter 4).
RESPECT:
- Profanity, offensive language and immoral behavior are not tolerated and could result in immediate expulsion.
- You are responsible for your children and their actions. Management will expel, without refund, anyone who puts the safety of a child at risk. You are also responsible for any actions or damages caused by them. Be on the lookout!
CHILDREN :
- All children must return to your site by 10:00 p.m.
- A child under 7 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person in parks, at the swimming pool, near paths, at the pond and in public places. Our sanitary facilities are not play areas.
- The parks are closed from 9:30 p.m. (or at dark). They must be informed that it is strictly forbidden to climb on the roofs of our structures.
WEAPONS AND DANGEROUS GAMES:
- It is prohibited to have guns of any kind (air, pellets, firecrackers, plastic bullets or water), arrows, slingshots, firecrackers, fireworks, flying lanterns, knives, under penalty of confiscation and/or expulsion.
DAMAGE
You are responsible for your actions, those of your children or guests.
CAMPERS AND VISITORS:
- A camper or visitor who causes breakage, damage or vandalism to the grounds, sites, buildings, games, picnic tables, trees (cutting or driving nails) will be held responsible for reimbursement and could have to answer for his actions before the civil authorities.
THE DIRECTION :
- The management is not responsible for damage caused to the camper's equipment by fire, theft, vandalism, accident, lack of electricity or by falling trees as well as by the actions of other campers, visitors or another customer of the campsite.
- The campsite is not responsible for reimbursement in the event of loss of services (water, electricity and sewer) due to lack of electricity during storms or strong winds. We strongly suggest that you fill your installations in order to have an autonomy of 48 hours.
Camping Cantley Inc. is not responsible for accidents that may occur on the campsite or while practicing activities on said site.
